Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to reservations booked directly with Avara Stays, at all of our properties: Tanasi Lodge, Majestica Lodge, Splashing at the Bluff, Dolphin View Duplex A, Dolphin View Duplex B, Beachfront Duplex (A + B) and Oasis Unit 2201. Reservations made through Airbnb or Vrbo follow the cancellation policy shown on that platform at the time of booking.

Refunds

• More than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking charges are refunded.
• 15 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking charges are refunded.
• Within 14 days of arrival: no refund.

Payments

• 50% of the total is due at booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival.

Changing your dates

If you need to change your dates, contact us before cancelling. We'll do our best to move your reservation, subject to availability.

Travel insurance

Optional travel insurance is offered when you book. We recommend it, especially during winter weather and hurricane season.

Weather

Refunds are not given for weather unless a mandatory evacuation order is issued for the property's area during your stay. In that case, we will refund the unused nights.

Early departures

No refunds are given for late arrivals or early departures.

Refundable security deposit (a card hold, not a charge)

A hold is placed on your card shortly before arrival and released after check-out once the home has been inspected. Damage, missing items or excess cleaning may be deducted.

• Tanasi Lodge, Majestica Lodge, Splashing at the Bluff and Beachfront Duplex (A + B): $1,500
• Dolphin View Duplex A and Dolphin View Duplex B: $900
• Oasis Unit 2201: $300
